Is this a Budweiser product?

Coleman Natural®* Foods has collaborated with Budweiser to infuse their classic Budweiser Lager Beer taste into a collection of pork BBQ products. The product is produced and distributed by Coleman Natural Foods.

What is Coleman Natural Foods?

Coleman Natural Foods has been a pioneer in no-antibiotics-ever meats, part of a legacy of quality that stretches back to 1875. Care for animals, and support of family farmers is a priority, and the American Humane Certified label means you don’t just have to take their word for it. Beyond the Budweiser BBQ collection, the company also produces fresh pork items, as well as bacon, sausages, ham, salumi and other processed meat products.

Do the products contain alcohol?

No. While we do use the signature taste and flavor of Budweiser Lager Beer, the products contain no alcohol content.

With the added sauce and beer flavor infusion, does it still live up to the Coleman Natural Foods standards?

Yes, the pork maintains the Coleman Natural Foods standards which means crate-free conditions for pigs, no artificial ingredients and no antibiotics ever. The Budweiser BBQ Sauce contains all-natural ingredients, and no high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors.

What does Crate Free mean?

Like Cage Free labeling in eggs, Crate Free indicates hogs are raised in environments that reduce confinement and allow them to express normal behavior. Hogs have ample space to move during pregnancy and upon giving birth to their litter.

What does it mean to be American Humane Certified?

American Humane Certification provides third-party auditing of every phase of our pork production, including farms, transportation and harvesting. American Humane Certification is based on the Five Freedoms, a globally accepted measure of animal care that goes beyond the basics of food, water, shelter and health to include freedom from distress and the freedom to express normal behaviors.
